We are owners and presidents of small and medium-sized companies throughout the Greater Phoenix area. As owners of privately-held companies, each of us could benefit from getting input and feedback from experienced leaders on a monthly basis in a Board Meeting format, but none of us wants to give up the control of our company that often comes with having an actual board of directors. We all know that preparing each month for a meeting that is focused on the growth strategy and critical operational aspects of our company, and then getting critical feedback from experienced business professionals in similar positions of leadership, would be invaluable for moving our businesses forward. As the owner of a business, no one but another owner can understand what you feel and experience as you lead your company -- not your employees, not your spouse, not your salaried friends. We stay connected as a total group, but we also break down into smaller Board-sized groups to afford sufficient focus and attention to be placed on your company.
