A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to two charities: The Make A Wish Foundation; and Grassroots Business Network's Youth Initiative (scholarship fund).

In regards to the Grassroots Business Network's Youth Initiative, we will be giving scholarships to two deserving students who have overcome adversity and are getting better by the day. Basically, these are the most improved students - students who are at-risk and have done a 180-degree turn. We have to support them.

As Elizabeth Cook said, It's better to educate the boy than to jail the man.

One recipient is from Dodge Vocational High School in the Bronx, and the other from EBC East New York High School for Public Safety and Law which is in the East New York section of Brooklyn.
