Reduced Price for Fundraising Day in NY
Fundraising Day in NY," America's largest one-day conference on Philanthropy" will take place on Friday June 13, 2008. The regular cost is $370-$420! If you would like free or reduced rate admission, there are volunteer opportunities available. Please review the notification below and direct your inquiries to the volunteer coordinator, Eugenia Koukounas at: ekoukounas@hotmail.com To all applicants: Volunteer positions are once again available for Fund Raising Day in New York. The key dates are: Thursday, June 12 , 2008, for the mandatory volunteer orientation, which will take place at 5:00 p.m., an hour before the pre-conference thank-you reception open to all volunteers at 6:00 p.m.; and Friday, June 13, for the conference itself. Both events will take place at the Marriott Marquis (Broadway and 45th Street, New York City). There are two ways to volunteer. As a part-pay volunteer, you pay a partial fee of $125 and work for two to three hours as a Bagger, handing out the tote bags; an Information Station volunteer, answering basic questions about session locations, times, and formats; or a Registration volunteer helping attendees with badges, on-site registration, and payments. No-pay volunteers, who include room monitors and evaluations volunteers, attend the conference for free. Room monitors are assigned to one room and remain there for the day, helping distribute handouts. Evaluations volunteers are responsible for collecting completed evaluations.
