Introduction
Hello. I am currently working on a fundraiser for an organization called Cheetah Outreach. I am mostly involved with human/wildlife conflict. I hope to open a big cat rescue facility in New York someday. Any advice would be helpful.
How did you learn of this Meetup?

I have been searching for advice on fundraiser and grants.

Why do you want to participate in the NYC Professional Fundraiser and Grantmaker Meetup, and what event format would be most desirable?

I am in process of changing careers and hope to work for a NOP wildlife organization in the near future.

What is the most interesting aspect of working in the nonprofit sector?

My passion is wildlife. Education people to live along side predators is important to me as is rescuing endangered species from the pet trade or abusive situations.

If you started a new business, what would it be?

I would like to open a big cat rescue facility. I would like to open the facility for tours and childrens' groups. Funds would go to care of the animals as well as promoting education.
