- Hi!! I am a recent college grad excited to start a career working for a cause. My professional interests lie in fundraising, development, and event planning. I am hoping to find the right venue to give me the opportunity to do good.
- How did you learn of this Meetup?

I think workshops, classes, and trainings would be a great way to not only network but learn as well.
- Why do you want to participate in the NYC Professional Fundraiser and Grantmaker Meetup, and what event format would be most desirable?

I am currently looking for a job and with the little background I have, it has been hard to even get an interview. But I know myself and my work ethic and I would be an asset to any organization, I just need someone to give me a chance.
- What is the most interesting aspect of working in the nonprofit sector?

I think it makes what you do worth it. Work is work because it's not always fun, it's not always easy. To me, working for a non-profit, for a cause you believe in makes you want to work harder and feel that what you do is making a difference.
