I have investigated and found that networking groups are a great way to get new business and to learn from each other. The groups I've found are either too far from Bethany or are breakfast meetings which, with a school-age daughter, I can't attend.

Currently there is no membership fee but you will be responsible for purchasing your own lunch.

Only one member from each profession or trade is permitted to join. This must be your primary occupation.

By coming to the meeting you agree to keep all ideas and information confidential. The purpose of this is to give our group an edge over the competition.

Suggested agenda:
* Lunch & Casual Conversation
* Self introductions with 30 to 60 seconds to give a synopsis of their business and pass around business
cards and/or literature.
* A discussion about what each member hopes to get out of the group.

The first few meetings will be to decide rules, agendas and nominate officers, etc.

A little about me: I'm a travel agent with more than 20 years in the industry. I hit the glass ceiling years ago so decided to start my own business to enable me to grow in a profession I love. More than ever I admire others who start their own companies and I look forward to networking with you.

    I enjoyed my time and I think this will be a group I attend for several months to come and maybe even years. I appreciate that it is brand new and no strict rules are in place yet.
